Entire Renewables was contacted by Mr Salmon who wanted to reduce his electricity bills as they had started to escalate beyond reason. Having built his own large property surrounded by a vast amount of open fields looking out across the countryside, but limited roof space, the customer decided to construct a frame himself to which we added 6.4kw of panels with Solaredge optimisers.
Having shown Mr Salmon the benefits of using Solaredge it was easy for him to come to the decision that this was the system that would be most suited to him and his young family.
Entire Renewables installed a 6.4Kw Pv system with 10Kw Solaredge battery storage.
The Data
In the weeks since the solar panel system has been installed and commissioned, the monitoring platform has registered that the system has generated a combined total of 738kw. The property has used 432kw. Unfortunately there was delay in battery stock meaning that the customer was running without the battery for a short while. Since the battery has been installed, the property has been running at 95 - 97% self sufficient on average each week.
Using the UK average price per kw of electricity at £0.33, it has cost the home owner approx (Excluding daily standing charges) £1.80 for the power supplied by the grid this past week and had generated a saving of roughly £142 already.
